Attention residents of Chester County: Effective February 16, 2024 @5pm, the Chester County Emergency Rent and Utility Assistance (ERAP) program that supported individuals and families who experienced a reduction in household income, significant costs related to housing, or financial hardship during, or due to COVID-19, will be closed to new applications. If you applied for ERAP prior to February 16th, please contact the provider you were assigned to directly.

Offers long-term case management for families who have recently moved to permanent housing from any shelter in the county. Families receive 6-12 months of case management, which includes a housing stability case plan, linkages to supportive services, Prepared Renters Program, and budgeting. This service aims to support families through the critical first months in long-term housing to ensure success.
