Description

Offers a 12-week education program specially designed for families experiencing the effects of severe brain disorders. Focuses on three major psychiatric illnesses: schizophrenia, bipolar disorder (manic depression), and major depression.

Providing organization

National Alliance on Mental Illness of Cumberland and Perry Counties (NAMI C/P PA)

Offers understanding to anyone concerned about mental illnesses and the treatment of mental illness. Holds mental health classes and support groups for family members and people with mental health conditions. Hosts an Annual Mental Awareness Walk on the Second Saturday of September at Adams-Ricci Park in Enola, PA. Volunteers welcome.
