York County Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (VOAD)
Functions as a national non-operational umbrella organization that gives each of its members the privilege of independently, but cooperatively, providing and implementing its resources when responding to disasters. VOAD is committed to the philosophy that the time to train, prepare, and become acquainted with each other is best achieved prior to the time of actual disaster response.
