Description
The Nurse-Family Partnership Program helps new moms by providing: A) Specially trained registered nurse to partner with moms-to-be starting early in pregnancy and continuing through the child’s second birthday B) Care and support needed for a healthy pregnancy, and a healthy, thriving baby C) Resources and advice to keep babies healthy and safe as they grow, learn, and develop D) Voluntary, free support for moms-to-be E) Trusting relationship with a nurse who will help new moms build their confidence, achieve their goals, and create a brighter future for themselves and their babies

A private non-profit health and human services organization, MFHS works to meet the health and nutrition needs of Northeastern Pennsylvania's women, children and families with information, education, and quality care. Available programs include the WIC Nutrition Program, Reproductive Health Services, Nurse-Family Partnership, Maternity Services and SafeTeens.org.
