Allegheny County residents, age 18 and older, who meet additional eligibility criteria. Ex-offenders are welcome.

Office Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm Program Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:45am to 4:00pm

Description

Offers eight-week pre-apprenticeship program designed to help individuals build the skill necessary to obtain good-paying careers in the building and construction trades, manufacturing, and the energy sectors. Pre-apprentices earn six industry-recognized certifications. Successful graduates are guaranteed interviews with several local unions for entry into their apprenticeship programs. Graduates are guaranteed entry into Laborers' International Union of North America (LIUNA) Western District.
