Description

Offers a free 8-session program for families of individuals with severe psychiatric disorders. Course focuses on these disorders: schizophrenia, clinical depression, obsessive compulsive disorder, bipolar depression (manic depression), and panic disorder. Covers clinical treatments and how to cope as a family. Also covered will be handling crises and relapses, problem solving, community services, and advocacy. The course is designed for parents, siblings, adult children, and significant others.
