Application process

Call for specific concerns. Callers are asked to be as specific as possible when providing the locations of maintenance problems. The county, municipality, and the traffic or state route number should be identified. Call with the following information: A) Name of the County B) Name of Township/Borough C) Name of road D) Closest intersection

Description

Responsible for the maintenance of all state roads spanning 1200 miles within Lancaster County, 760 bridges, and over 50,000 signs. Accepts reports on potholes, road hazards, and other road maintenance problems. Administers the Adopt-a-Highway Program. Groups pledge to maintain a stretch of roadway or highway.
