Eligibility

Individuals age 21 and younger with an Axis I psychiatric diagnosis and who demonstrates overall inability to benefit from office-based services and/or the limited frequency of outpatient treatment.

Description

Utilizes various treatment modalities, including Family Therapy, Individual Therapy, Behavior Specialist Consultation, Therapeutic Staff Support and case management services to decrease children's behavioral difficulties and increase functioning. All services occur in the client's home, school and/or community. Mobile Therapy consists of therapeutic interventions provided to the client and/or family within the context of the home or community. Behavior Specialist Consultation services include behavioral observation, behavior modification plan development and consultation with the family, school and other adults that interact with the client to increase the treatment efficacy of the client's natural environment. Therapeutic Staff Support involves the one-to-one interventions with a support staff within settings in which the client needs additional supports to maintain emotional and/or behavioral stability.
