Organizations providing community support to individuals dealing with or recovering from mental illness, or individuals needing help navigating the mental health system

Hours

Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm

Memberships are not required in order to receive help/assistance.

Description

Provides information and referral to support the dignity, respect, and human rights of persons diagnosed with mental illness. Also provides advocacy, training, education and peer support.

Pennsylvania Mental Health Consumers' Association

Offers a state-wide member organization dedicated to the support of all people who seek aid for recovery from a mental illness at any stage in their journey. Also provides training to individuals in such areas as Mental Health Advance Directives, Peer Support, LGBTQI+ Issues, and other training.
