West Chester Communities That Care

West Chester Communities That Care works with youth, parents, education, government, faith and business leaders to eliminate barriers and create pathways that allow local youth to thrive. We envision a society where youth are supported by their peers to live substance-free, violence-free and emotionally healthy lives. Through hands on programs and marketing strategies, we create a culture of health and well-being throughout the greater West Chester area. WCCTC is part of a statewide initiative that uses prevention planning to develop an integrated approach to promoting the positive development of children and youth. The evidence-based CTC model of community action guides the coalition through five stages of community planning, from community mobilization through outcomes evaluation.
