Description
A way for individuals to spend time with their friends in a social setting. Offers a great opportunity to gain social skills within the community and provides each individual with the feeling of self worth and independence.
Currently there are thirteen active groups providing activities in different areas of Schuylkill County. Each group participates in one activity each month.
Activities include:
Bowling
Movies
Local fairs
Dining out
Mini golf
Variety of interesting adventures
In addition to each group's monthly activity, there is an opportunity once a month for a large group activity. These activities are open to all groups and usually are activities such as dances, plays, amusement parks, tours, etc.
