Description

Deploys fun, positive, and meaningful activities designed to help children improve their participation in school, leisure, family, and community. Occupational therapy for children may focus on struggles with completing self-care activities such as brushing teeth and dressing; community participation and social skills; motor skill impairment; sensory issues, such as seeking or avoiding different types of stimulation more than others; Visual perceptual deficits, such as difficulty with mazes and puzzles, or difficulty finding information on a clustered page; handwriting difficulties; feeding; cognitive skills such as attention, memory and problem solving; and/or mental health/mindfulness.
