Eligibility

Must be a resident of Lackawanna County. Must be age 60 years old or older (or will turn 60 by December 31, 2025). Income limits per household: 1 person ($28,953), 2 person ($39,128), 3 person ($49,303), 4 person ($59,478), 5 person ($69,653), 6 person ($79,828)

Hours

Distribution will begin in June 2025 and will be in person only (no mailing). Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm Vouchers are offered once a year.

Application process

In person distribution only. Distribution schedule available on website listed above. Mailed applications will not be processed. Schedule can be found on intake website.

Description

Provides vouchers for the purchase of fresh fruits and vegetables that are grown locally. Each eligible senior will receive (5) $5.00 voucher to redeem at an approved local Farmers' Market.
