Description
Offers aid to families who find themselves in a kinship care situation. Provides support services which include information to caregivers about available services; assistance to caregivers in gaining access to the services; individual counseling, organization of support groups, training of caregivers to assist them in decision-making and problem-solving that are related to their caregiving roles; and reimbursement for services and/or supplies.

Franklin County is governed by a board of three county commissioners elected every four years by the citizens who live here. The Board of Commissioners oversees the entire operation of the county and represents the best interests of the citizens.
