Description

Offers in-person support as victims/survivors navigate the criminal justice and court systems. Advocates provide trauma-informed empowerment support, accompaniment, and information to about the legal system when victims/survivors are making critical decisions. They also ensure that the victims'/survivors' rights are upheld throughout the process and provide explanation of the legal ramifications. Court education is also available. Assistance is available to obtain Protection from Abuse Orders (PFA), Sexual Violence Protection Order (SVPO)/Protection from Intimidation (PFI) Order, and Medical Advocacy is also available.

Provides trauma-informed empowerment advocacy and counseling to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, other crime, and juvenile offenders. Utilizes evidence-based and research supported techniques and programming to promote awareness of domestic violence, sexual assault, and victimization to survivors and in the community. Provides emergency, confidential, safe sheltering to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.
