Description

Offers workshops designed to provide tools that make everyday life easier and more manageable, including skills to improve communication, handle stress, budget money, set goals, and build stronger relationships. Covers topics such as cell phone use, computer literacy, health and wellness, emotional intelligence and communication skills, job searching and interviewing, budgeting and financial management, healthy meals on a budget, and community engagement.

Providing organization

STRIVE Initiatives

Provides Housing Assistance, Family Reunification Services, Mentoring Services, and Workforce Development Services to individuals who are returning home from a State Correctional Institute. Re-entrants who are on State Parole are eligible for the above-mentioned services and receive referrals from their Parole Agents.
