Transit Center hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm Saturday, 10:00am to 4:30pm. Westmoreland Transit service hours: Monday through Friday, 4:30am to 8:00pm Saturday, 7:00am to 6:30pm.

Application process

Apply in person at the Transit Center in downtown Greensburg, call 724-832-2706, or visit the website to download the application. Completed applications with proof of age document can be faxed to 724-853-2760 or mailed to 41 Bell Way Greensburg Pa 15601.

Description

The Senior Free Transit Program is made possible through funding by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The program offers free public bus transportation for senior citizens ages 65 and over on all routes at all times.

Provides local bus service throughout Westmoreland County and commuter service to Pittsburgh. Ages 65+ ride for free and discounts for frequent riders. Also offers shared-ride, door to door transportation to eligible residents of Westmoreland County.
