Description
Works to provide decent, safe and sanitary housing for eligible low-income individuals and families, including special provisions for seniors and the physically challenged who are in need of affordable housing and who meet eligibility requirements. Provides information about eligibility for and vacancies in subsidized housing properties in Allentown. Eligibility criteria include income guidelines, age and/or disability status. Two year waiting list for public housing. Administers the Section 8 program. Eligibility is determined by income and family size.
