Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm 24-hour answering and on-call system

Description

Provides direct services to families serving as kinship foster homes. Helps these families meet the requirements of foster care set by the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services, Philadelphia Department of Human Services (DHS) and A Second Chance, Inc.

Second Chance Kinship Care

Provides a full range of services which help to strengthen and preserve healthy families for children in kinship care and support families created by foster care and adoption. Services to children include: Peer support groups, tutoring, computer training, and self-esteem workshops.
