Eligibility

Residents of Chester County Household's adjusted gross income less than 400% of Federal Poverty Level OR qualified for Earned Income Tax Credit Must complete 8 hours of financial education provided by Open Hearth

Description

Provides free funds matching eligible families' savings to be used toward post-secondary education, an automobile, or a first home (based on available funding). Households may save for up to 12 months. For education: save $1,000, receive $3,000. For a vehicle: save $1,000, receive $3,000. For home purchase: save $2,000, receive $4,000.
