Butler County Area Agency on Aging - Family Caregiver Support Program

Provides support to caregivers of functionally dependent adults. Caregivers who are accepted into the program may be eligible to receive up to $600 per month reimbursement for the purchase of supportive services and goods from a pre-authorized care plan. The level of reimbursement is determined on the basis of caregiver need, income, actual expenditures, and the availability of funds.

Provides financial assistance in the form of a 4-year forgivable lien to Indiana County homeowners for home rehabilitation (repair) and accessible modifications. Rehabilitation activities include but are not limited to roofs, electrical, plumbing, hvac and energy envelope repairs. Rehabilitation activities may also address accessibility modifications such as ramps, grab bars, bathroom modifications, door widening, stair lifts, etc.
