The MENTOR Community Residential Rehabilitation Host Home Program provides an array of therapeutic supports and services to vulnerable children and their families, enabling both to be successful in their own lives and within the larger community. Basic services provided for every child include room & board, advice and counseling, medication monitoring and adherence, self-care training, supervision of schoolwork/activities, recreation, involvement in the treatment planning process, treatment plan implementation, and family support.

St. Joseph's Center has long history of caring for children with special needs. The trend continues today in the Center's state-of-the-art Weinberg Therapy Building. Experienced therapists utilize a play-based gym, a therapeutic pool, the latest in communication technologies, and full music and recreation therapy facilities to provide each child with a comprehensive therapy service. Licensed therapists evaluate skills and work one-on-one through an individually developed plan of care. By incorporating the family and/or caregiver, we hope to attain functional goals and ultimately to improve the quality of life for each child.

Women's Health Services meet the complete spectrum of women's health and include traditional medical and surgical approaches. The latest advances in gynecologic care is offered, covering everything from routine attention to minimally invasive and robotic surgeries to gynecologic-oncology. The obstetric program encompasses Maternal Fetal Medicine as well as Reproductive Endocrinology. The program includes a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) available for newborns that need specialized care and a robust inpatient pediatric program to care for children up to age 18. A comprehensive outpatient rehabilitation program that provides diagnostic, evaluative treatments and referral services for children up to 18 years old who have developmental delays or difficulties, learning problems or have physical disabilities or injuries requiring rehabilitation. Good Shepherd also has contracts to serve as a provider of Early Intervention Services for both Lehigh and Northampton counties for children up to three years old.

Offers Parent-Child Interaction Therapy to enhance a positive relationship between caregiver and child and to promote effective behavior management and discipline techniques. PCIT is conducted through 12 to 20 weekly sessions that uses child-directed and parent-directed interaction.
