Center for Community Resources - Family Group Decision Making
Provides Family Group Decision Making (FGDM) which is a strengths-based voluntary process. FGDM offers families the opportunity to join together with other people who are important in their lives, to develop a plan to resolve identified concerns. Families who enter into FGDM are guided by a Coordinator.

This program helps families overcome challenges that affect the safety, well-being, and care of children at home. It offers guidance on parenting skills like setting daily routines, positive discipline, and building strong relationships. Families also receive support connecting to resources such as stable housing, job opportunities, budgeting help, and mental health services. The program includes three meetings over the course of a couple of months, each lasting 1 to 3 hours, where families come together to make decisions and plan for their future.

Offers support topics such as current epilepsy treatments and alternative therapies, medication questions, support groups, seizure first aid and safety devices, employment and discrimination, emotional support, Epilepsy Foundation local offices, and Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy (SUDEP).
