Beacon Light - School Based Behavioral Health

Community School Based Behavioral Health aka Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS) for Groups & Individuals is an intensive mental health program that is voluntary, time-limited, and community based. It is offered to school districts throughout the Commonwealth. Beacon Light Behavioral Health System has partnered with various school districts to offer mental health treatment in this flexible Group & Individual Behavioral Health model.

Northeast Counseling Services - Community and School Based Behavioral Health Team

In cooperation with the Hazleton Area School District, this program is designed to serve elementary and middle school students in the school, home and community. A Team of Mental Health Professionals work collaboratively with educational staff to ensure clinical, case management, and educational needs are met. Services provided include education and intake, individual and family therapy, group therapy, educational support, consultation with school personnel and crisis intervention. The service is provided at Drums Elementary/Middle School, Heights Terrace Elementary/Middle School, West Hazleton Elementary/Middle School, Freeland Elementary/Middle School, Valley Elementary/Middle School, Hazleton High School/Maple Manor/Career Center, Hazle Township Early Learning Center, and Halzeton Elementary School.

Ponessa Behavioral Health - School Based Outpatient Mental Health Services and IBHS

- School Based Outpatient Services provide mental health services and counseling to children and adolescents within their home school. - Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS) are medically prescribed, in-home, intensive, and individualized mental health services. IBH Services are time-limited, goal directed interventions focused on children and adolescents who have been diagnosed with a serious emotional disturbance and are best served with IBHS treatment teams working both one-on-one with the child as well as with their families, to assist them in developing the skills to manage problematic behaviors.

Clinton County Government - School Based Outreach

School-based outreach is a prevention program initiated in cooperation with local school districts to provide crisis and short-term interventions for at risk children and families in each school district community. Services available through this program include assessment, intervention, individual student contacts, small group activities, family home visits, crisis intervention, summer programming, and referrals to other community resources and services. School-Based Outreach caseworkers serve as liaisons between the school, families and community resources and serve on each schoolâs Student Assistance Program team. The goal of the program is to quickly identify and resolve child/family issues/concerns before they escalate into formal referrals into one of the child welfare or other service system.
