Friendship House - Adoption

This program prepares interested and qualified families to become adoptive parents for children identified by the State-Wide Adoption Network (SWAN) adoption becomes the permanent goal when reunification of the child and the biological family is not possible. As a SWAN affiliate, Friendship House offers all components of the adoptive process including family and child profiles, child-specific recruitment, child preparation and post-adoptive services.

Three Rivers Adoption Council - Adoption Preparation

Provides in-home support for a minimum of six months to help children and family understand their permanency goal. Allows children to talk about and understand their past, helps address issues and needs of the child and family, and provides education for the family regarding the child welfare system, the court system, and also the permanency goal of the child.
