Provides is a safe place for those suffering from addiction. Also for loved ones of those suffering addiction or suspected of addiction to come and get all sorts of information about the resources that are available. Offers: A) A Certified Recovery Specialist or Certified Family Recovery Specialist is on-site so that if someone needs professional counseling or immediate placement into a rehab, we can accomplish that the same day. B) A medically assisted treatment (MAT) van from Gaudenzia Rehab services that can give prescribed injections for those in recovery. C) On-site computer and printer to apply for assistance, employment opportunities or research meetings, activities, and events to aid in your recovery efforts. WellSpan Health offers the Freedom From Smoking program developed by the American Lung Association. The eight session program is designed to:

  • Develop a smoke-free lifestyle The program is offered free of charge. Wellspan Health offers free one-on-one tobacco treatment planning sessions to Adams and York county residents. At these counseling sessions, a certified tobacco cessation counselor will:
  • Assess your dependence on nicotine
  • Discuss any past attempts to quit
  • Review strategies and coping skills to get you through urges to smoke or chew
  • Develop a tailored "quit plan" specific to your lifestyle. Wellspan Health also offers a self guided program for those who want to quit on their own. WellSpan also provides referrals to the PA quitline at 1800-quitnow

    Clearfield/Jefferson Drug and Alcohol Commission - Clearfield/Jefferson Drug and Alcohol Commission

    Single County Authority (SCA) for substance abuse services in the two-county area. Responsible for the planning, funding, and coordination of local alcohol, gambling and other drug programs. Direct services provided by the Commission are Case Management, Prevention, Student Assistance Program services and trainings, Hepatitis C screenings and referrals. Treatment services are subcontracted to other agencies.
