Offers specialized service for individuals who are in recovery from substance abuse and/or mental health. It is conducted by self-identified current or former clients of behavioral health services who have completed peer counseling and are certified to offer support and assistance to others in their recovery and community-integration process.

Offers a program that allows for each client to be assigned to a horse for the duration of their stay to ensure each client's needs are matched appropriately with a horse that will allow them to be successful in equine activities. While learning to ride and care for a horse, a client can learn to increase their attention and focus, sensory perception, communication skills, emotional vulnerability, confidence, and self-esteem. The horse activities are taught and supervised by our highly–trained Ranch staff and therapeutically processed with Malibu’s Clinical staff.

Services offered may include mentoring, connecting with the Recovery Community, securing a sponsor, etc. Core functions and activities include: recovery capital needs assessment for individual/family/community; recovery education and coaching offering recovery information, support, enhancement of self-management skills.

Provides comprehensive wraparound support for pregnant and parenting people.

Provides outpatient substance use treatment for adolescents and adults. Services include initial assessment, individual and family therapy, peer recovery support, and case management. Also assists clients with accessing Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT), psychiatric services, or other levels of treatment as appropriate.

Provides check up support. The service is non-invasive, only provided at the individuals request.
