SAMHSA's Disaster Distress Helpline provides 24/7, 365-day-a-year crisis counseling and support to people experiencing emotional distress related to natural or human-caused disasters.

Provides disaster preparedness and response services throughout 24 counties of Eastern Pennsylvania. Services include assisting families to develop a disaster recovery plan, linking disaster survivors with resources, attending to emotional and spiritual needs, and repairing/rebuilding property.

Provides 24-hour response to crisis and emergency situations, including 24/7 telephone crisis hotline, mobile crisis counseling, and walk in crisis counseling

Provides group therapy, individual therapy, family therapy, and psychiatric services as needed. Provides trauma treatment services and therapeutic care to child, adolescent, and adult survivors of all types of trauma, including, but not limited to: traumatic grief or separation; exposure to community violence; emotional abuse or psychological maltreatment; physical abuse or assault; exposure to gun violence; serious accident, illness, or medical procedure; natural or man-made disasters; war, terrorism, or political violence; military trauma; human trafficking; sexual abuse; survivors of, or witnesses to domestic violence.

Provides sensitive assistance and support for people who cannot resolve the impact of one or more of the following: atraumatic, overwhelming event; a death or other loss; a series of stressful events.

Trained professionals provide support, assessment, and referral for the following: - Aging problems - Depression - Domestic violence - Drug and alcohol problems - Mental health or mental retardation problems - Parent/child conflicts - Sexual assault - Suicidal thoughts or actions In addition, callers can receive up-to-date information on agencies and support groups which are designed to meet various needs. Provides in person crisis and mobile crisis services.

A team of specially trained volunteers whose main concern is the support of primary victims of disasters. DCORT assists these victims in coping with the emotional impact of the events and also helps them meet their basic needs by providing referrals and information.

Provides counseling assessment and treatment for individuals, families, couples, and children. Offers support groups in addition to therapy conducted by licensed clinical social workers, professional counselors, and psychiatrists. Provides family consultation for children with special needs for issues with aging and caring for older adults.

Provides long-term disaster recovery to those with unmet needs in the areas of case management, construction estimation, volunteer clean-up and rebuilding, emotional and spiritual support. Volunteers work in partnership with other local agencies.

Offers trained community members who, acting as trauma responders, support and lead responses to stress, trauma, loss, and violence within their own communities. Responders work alongside community leaders to provide technical assistance, facilitate group interventions, and create healing spaces. Provides Psychological First Aid (PFA) and immediate support following an incident of violence or trauma and Post Traumatic Stress Management (PTSM) interventions including orientation sessions, stabilization groups, coping groups, and self-care discussions. Offers presentations, workshops, and referrals for clinical services and wellness resources.
