For school-aged children, interventions may include Direct Service Professional support in school, to help the individual learn appropriate adaptive behaviors and decrease behavioral symptoms that may impede learning. In addition, home programming may also be a component of a childâs treatment plan. Home programming for school-aged children typically involves increasing daily living, and socialization while also decreasing maladaptive behaviors. Other individuals on the Spectrum may benefit from interventions that are based in the community in which they live to encourage and utilize services/resources available to all of members of our society.

Regularly scheduled leisure choices are offered each week throughout the year. Programs are varied and include dinners, dances, swimming, bingo, arts/crafts, special events and much more. Also provides a Fun and Friendship Bowling League, which meets regularly. For children, the Arc offers a five-week summer camp program. In addition "Arc Tracks" presents travel prospects for those who enjoy excursions to destinations such as New York City, Philadelphia, and Lancaster for shows and shopping. We also experience amusement parks, and sporting events.
