In-Home Support services are designed to assist clients with personal business that can also include other tasks such as balancing checkbooks, handling correspondence, filing applications for benefits and other essential tasks.

The AbilityOne Program creates employment opportunities for individuals who are blind or severely disabled. Business services include shredding, CD/DVD duplication and printing, custom logo USB flash drives, Flash drive and file preloading. They are also available as subcontractors for warehousing, distribution and shipping, light assembly, collating, packaging, and shrink wrapping.

Offers evaluation with a Low Vision Specialist, demonstration of assistive aids and appliances, digital talking book (a free library service), assistance with handicap placard, Telephone Directory Assistance exemption, and purchase of low vision aids such as UV shields, magnifiers, large print items, etc.

Provides high school students who are blind and visually impaired with the skills and knowledge they need to successfully transition from high school to college and/or employment. The goal of this program is to help students identify and learn the steps they need to take to make the successful transition to life beyond high school. We feel that it is important for our blind and visually impaired clients to remain connected to the news and information they need- we refer our clients to Kings' College Radio, 88.5 FM to help them stay connected to the community by reading the newspaper from 10am-12pm daily. Northeast Sight Services provides referrals to this service.
