Aleph Institute - In-Prison Support Programs for the Jewish Community

Ensures that a Rabbi visits each prison every two weeks to make sure that the Jews incarcerated at these facilities are given their rights to religious services, including anything from kosher meals to menorahs during Chanukah. Provides for observance of holidays and other religious activities.

Jewish Family Service - Case Management

Provides case management, counseling and advocacy to individuals of the Jewish faith. Services include: Counseling: Offers professional counseling for families and individuals Food Bank: Food pantry, in conjunction with Helping Harvest, distributes groceries to those who meet federal guidelines. Transportation: Offers a taxi service in the community, which enables seniors and the disabled to get to doctors' appointments, socialize and remain independent. Outreach: Members of the Jewish community are visited in their homes, hospitals, and long-term care facilities by staff to assess needs. Information and referral: Provides information on other services, agencies and resources in the community.
