FSB Initiative Inc. - FSB Initiative

Provides outreach to the veteran homeless community by helping homeless veterans with clothing, hygiene, food, and any other comforts they may need. Offers assistance to homeless veterans who have addictions and offer to get them into treatment if they desire. FSB can help get with shelter, employment, and other services. A homeless veteran qualifies for care through the VA even if it is not service connected. As long as they are under the care of a program, they will get the medical help they need.

Provides daily van transportation to and from designated locations including local shelters, the Corporal Michael J. Crescenz VA Medical Center, and Camden, New Jersey. Lebanon Rescue Mission - Men's Shelter

Offers: A) Veteran homeless services in partnership with the Lebanon VA Medical Center B) Emergency shelter for men C) Short-term Stay Transitional shelter – for men that are looking for employment and need to secure affordable housing. Guests are normally with the program for 90 days (ish) D) Life Change Program – residential program for men. Participants are usually with the program for one year or more. E) Respite Care – for those men that have lost their housing AND are managing a serious medical diagnosis (ex. stage 4 stomach cancer) F) Senior homelessness – men over the age of 60 that are experiencing homelessness (often for the first time). The program provides case management to assist with senior housing applications, social security challenges, health care issues, etc. Senior guests typically stay until they can be moved into long-term affordable senior housing. G) Relocation program – a male guest that is trying to get to a different part of the country where they may have family or other support systems. Case managers work with them to rebuild the relationship to reconnect with those family member, and build a plan to get them back to their family.

Christian Layman Corps - Veterans Program

Provides clothing for Westmoreland County veterans identified through the Homeless Veterans Program. Veterans who are moving from homelessness into permanent housing are eligible to receive household goods, and furniture in addition to clothing. New small appliances are also provided.
