Susquehanna Valley United Way - United in Recovery

The Behavioral Health and Addiction Impact Council oversees the Northumberland County Opioid Coalition and Snyder-Union Opioid Coalition as well as The Youth Ambassadors. These groups are working collectively to end drug overdose deaths and reduce stigma about addiction in their counties. Coalitions were born out of a collective effort to address the opioid crisis affecting the region and the entire country. Coalition provides training, public speaking and access to online and agency resources.

Tioga County Department of Human Services - Drug and Alcohol Services

Provides screening for drug and alcohol use as the first function necessary to meet the client's needs. The main purpose of screening is to evaluate the need for a referral to emergent care setting, including detoxification, prenatal, perinatal, and psychiatric services, and then to motivate and refer the individual for a level of care assessment or other services.

Single County Authority (SCA) for substance abuse services in the two-county area. Responsible for the planning, funding, and coordination of local alcohol, gambling and other drug programs. Direct services provided by the Commission are Case Management, Prevention, Student Assistance Program services and trainings, Hepatitis C screenings and referrals. Treatment services are subcontracted to other agencies.
