Additionally, an advocate can assist with filing an order for Protection from Abuse (PFA), Protection from Intimidation (PFI), and Protection of Victims of Sexual Assault (PSVI), restitution claims, and victim compensation claims.

Helps victims and witnesses navigate various institutions that can be confusing, such as criminal justice, medical, social welfare, and financial compensation. Advocates inform clients about court and other proceedings and provide much-needed support by accompanying them throughout the process.

Assists victims and witnesses of crime. Services include case status information, accompaniment to preliminary hearings and trials, assistance with filing for crime victim's compensation and referrals to social service agencies for counseling and other services.

Provides community-based psychiatric treatment, outreach, rehabilitation, and support to individuals with severe mental illness who may have co-occurring problems and who may have had multiple psychiatric and substance abuse hospitalizations. This program aims to fulfill needs and achieve goals that have not been met through traditional office-based treatment and rehabilitation services. The Sellersville team also includes a Forensics Specialist whose primary role is to advocate for individuals as they move through the criminal justice system. The Forensics Specialist also serves as the team's liaison with the judicial system (e.g. police, county corrections, probation and parole officers, etc

Provides ongoing empowerment counseling, tailored to individual needs, to victims, children and significant others. This includes crisis, economic and educative counseling. Additionally, support groups are held regularly for adults or teens who are survivors of domestic violence, rape, sexual assault and sexual harassment. The Barbara J. Hart Justice Center provides legal assistance to program participants, including representation, consultation and court preparation. Services include safety planning, Protection From Abuse orders, child custody, child support, divorce, nuisance ordinances from landlords, evictions, consumer debt, banking and tax issues, immigration issues, and employment cases.

Offers assistance in applying for the Victims Compensation Assistance Program. The Victims Compensation Assistance Program helps victims and their families through the emotional and physical aftermath of a crime by easing the financial impact placed upon them by the crime.

Offers in-person support as victims/survivors navigate the criminal justice and court systems. Advocates provide trauma-informed empowerment support, accompaniment, and information to about the legal system when victims/survivors are making critical decisions. They also ensure that the victims'/survivors' rights are upheld throughout the process and provide explanation of the legal ramifications. Court education is also available. Assistance is available to obtain Protection from Abuse Orders (PFA), Sexual Violence Protection Order (SVPO)/Protection from Intimidation (PFI) Order, and Medical Advocacy is also available.

Provides support and services to victims of all violence including sexual assault, their families and significant others. Offers support groups for rape survivors, children, pre-adolescents, teens, parents of sexually abused children, adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse, male survivor's and homicide survivors. Other services include trained counselors who can accompany victims of violence to the emergency room, police departments or to court. Individual and support group counseling are available. Also provides education and resources on crime victimization and prevention for interested individuals and groups.

Provides forensic child interviews, medical exams, and services to reduce the trauma children experience during the investigation of abuse allegations.

Provides a 24-hour confidential, domestic violence support hotline. Makes referrals for temporary or emergency safe shelter. Offers legal advocacy, including assistance with filing a Protection From Abuse Order. Coordinates with other social service agencies that provide assistance with health, finances, housing, drug/alcohol treatment, support groups, children's services, employment/training, food, furniture, clothing, and more. Provides referral and support services, child therapy, and the W.E.A.V.E. (Women's Empowerment Against Violent Environments) adult support group, which includes free childcare during group sessions. Delivers community education for all groups, including educational speakers and age-appropriate outreach materials. Provides accompaniment and/or transportation to appointments/hearings, including civil and criminal hearings. Also offers options for counseling and crisis response, with free childcare provided when necessary. Offers volunteer opportunities.

ARD Program: The ARD Program (Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition) is a pre-trial diversionary program administered by the District Attorney's Office. After the preliminary hearing is held or waived a defendant may file an application in the District Attorney's Office. Private Complaints: With the exception of private bad check complaints, the District Attorney's office must approve all Private Complaints involving either a misdemeanor or felony. A private complaint is one brought by a citizen either without police involvement or where the police declined to get involved. Private Summary citations (minor offenses such as harassment) that are not accepted by a Magisterial District Justice also require approval by the District Attorney. Victim/Witness Assistance: It is the responsibility of the Victim/Witness Unit to ensure that victims are provided the rights as defined under the Prosecutor's Responsibilities of the Crime Victims Bill of Rights (Act 111 of 1998).
