Administers the special education dispute resolution system in Pennsylvania to include due process, mediation, and IEP facilitation. Creates agreement training and conflict resolution skills training that is also available to families and schools.

We provide three programs that address the needs of persons under the age of 22. They are as follows: 1. Our School-to-Work program is designed to provide high school-aged students with an IEP (Individualized Education Program) transition into the workplace. Through a vocational evaluation by our licensed psychologist and work done by the student in our workshop, the employment potential of the student is enhanced and assessed. In the workshop students develop vocational and employability skills that help them to successfully transition from school to work. If appropriate, students can also progress to participating in transitional work crews in the community. Students are paid at piece rate for the work they do in the workshop and at an hourly rate for community work crew. In addition, at the request of the school district, we can provide job development and job coaching. Provides social workers and educators to coach members anywhere in the Philadelphia metropolitan area to live, work and socialize independently. Supported services: transitioning from living with family to living independently (including roommate matching); career success; community engagement and social connections; budgeting; volunteering, most ADLs; and a customized plan to achieve independence.

Provides learning opportunities for adolescents and young adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities in a supportive environment. Offers instruction in Daily Living Skills, Self-Determination, and Workplace Readiness Training.

Provides families of children with developmental and/or behavioral disorders with information about how to access educational programs and family support services, sources of advocacy, and sources of information on state and federal regulations.

Offers specialized education and related services, including autism support and multiple disabilities support, to nearly 200 students from 60+ school districts across western Pennsylvania each year. It is the only MOVE™ Model Site in Pennsylvania, and is an approved private school licensed by the Pennsylvania Bureau of Private Academic Schools and approved as a special education school by the Pennsylvania Department of Education.

Students with autism thrive when education is creatively tailored to individual learning styles and the environment is responsive to sensory differences.

Provides a comprehensive educational, spiritual, and social program for children and young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities

Provides information for families and advocates of children with disabilities about school related concerns, special education regulations, procedural safeguards, and general disability questions.

Coordinates services for Schuylkill County Schools. Services include special education, vocational education and defined mandated services including Continuing Education, Curriculum Services, Instructional Materials Services, Educational Planning, Pupil Personnel Services, and Federal and State Liaison responsibilities.
