Support services include rehabilitation activities that help improve the skills required to live, work, and learn in the community; and coordination and development of community supports to connect to essential services.

PATH - Mental Health Transitional Residence

You will live in the community. The level of support you need will determine where you will live. You may live in a group home or in an apartment building located in Northeast Philadelphia. In our group home, you will live with 8 other individuals and share a bedroom with one person. Staff are present in the home at all times. You and your housemates will prepare and eat meals together and share in completing household chores. In the apartment building, you will share a one or two-bedroom apartment with one other person. PATH has a separate apartment in the same building where staff are available at all times to assist you when needed. You and your roommate will share in completing household chores. You can decide to purchase and prepare meals together or individually.

Offers a multi-modal, multi-disciplinary structure for a variety of programs. The program has a variable length of treatment and offers flexibility in scheduling as symptoms are alleviated, and the individual is able to resume their typical activities. Programs available include individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, psycho education, medication consultation, and discharge planning.

Day Hospital/Intensive Outpatient mental health treatment program for those who have a diagnosis of mental health illness and who are experiencing serious to severe levels of emotional distress. Program is designed to allow individuals to remain with their families and community. Program varies from 3-6 hours and includes the following services: * psychiatric evaluation * individual therapy * group therapy * psych-education regarding symptom management, coping skills development and problem solving * Psychopharmacological consultation * Treatment includes the participation of family members and other significant persons * Individual meetings to review treatment * Discharge planning, including aftercare programs. * Children and adolescents receive age appropriate education services coordinated with students home school district

Stairways Behavioral Health - Residential Treatment Facility for Adults

Offers a 15-bed residential treatment facility for people who require mental health treatment and services on an on-going, 24-hour basis for up to 30 days. Provides a safe and supportive environment as an alternative to inpatient mental health hospitalization or as a step-down from it. Services are individually tailored to meet the client's needs and can include individual and group therapy, psychiatric services, and medication management. Clients are invited to join daily recreational activities.
