Responsible for the maintenance of all state roads spanning 1200 miles within Lancaster County, 760 bridges, and over 50,000 signs. Accepts reports on potholes, road hazards, and other road maintenance problems. Administers the Adopt-a-Highway Program. Groups pledge to maintain a stretch of roadway or highway. City of Reading - Citizens Service Center

Exists to serve citizens by educating and addressing municipal questions and needs. This can be done in one of three ways: through their Treasury Office, Call Center or Website. - Treasury Office: Accepts payment of all City of Reading bills and fees except water (RAWA) bills and property taxes. Allows walk-ins and processes payments received by all City of Reading departments. Additionally, Treasury posts payments to applicable accounts, and provides account balances upon request. - Call Center: Manages the city toll-free phone number.
