Youth Administrative Service Coordination services are available to parents/caregivers who may need support and assistance in managing their child’s mental health needs. This program provides consumers in the county the opportunity to work on their personal recovery from mental illness. Opportunities include: education on topics related to their lifestyles, wellness recovery, life skills, social skills and more. Various recreational activities are available. Lunch is served from 12:00pm to 12:30pm.

Offers parenting support, counseling, and education for birth, adoptive, foster, and kinship parents.

Provides a specialized type of counseling that uses the client’s own creativity to process difficult experiences, manage stress, explore emotions, and improve mental health. Art therapists are highly trained in both mental health and the creative arts. Art therapy has been shown to improve the ability to concentrate, communicate with others, and improve self-esteem and self-awareness. It can be used for the treatment of trauma, anxiety, and depression both alone, and in conjunction with other forms of therapy

Caseworkers offer counseling to those who are feeling stressed, overwhelmed, alone, afraid, anxious or other challenging emotions and refer them to community-based resources that can further help to meet individual needs.

Families may seek counseling to address issues such as separation or divorce, parenting, marital relationships, illness or death, problems in school, addictions, eating disorders, infidelity, and conflict between family members. During family therapy, the therapist may meet with each member alone and then eventually together. They will assess different issues within the family such as healthy boundaries, creating stronger relationships, problem-solving abilities, and improving communication.

A safe place for clients experiencing mental and behavioral health issues to promote their recovery, and socialize through activities, discussion groups, and outings with people in similar circumstances. Lunch is provided free of charge at noon.
